Help the Family of Anthony Borges
Anthony is a victim of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. During this unspeakable tragedy, Anthony was able to save about 20 other students as he attempted to close and lock the door to a classroom. He was shot multiple times (both legs were shot, left upper thigh bone shattered and one bullet went through his back). He has a long road of recovery ahead of him but he is alive and stable.
Help the Family of Kyle Laman
Kyle Laman 15 years old was struck by a bullet in the cross line of fire in the school. He had surgery but received news that unfortunately he will need extensive surgery to fix his ligaments and tendons, and he will have to have skin graphs and will be at the hospital for at least 2 more weeks and after will be in the road to recovery… His parents are by his side. They won’t be able to work for a while due to the caring of their son and we would like to help the family in any way possible.

Shine MSD
Shine MSD was formed by Marjory Stoneman Douglas drama students after the school shooting on February 14, 2018 to … raise relief funds for victims and their families and provide mental health programs centered around the arts at Stoneman Douglas High School and Parkland. We anticipate the healing and mental health needs in our community to be a continuous, ongoing effort with the potential to expand the scope of our work to other individuals and communities in need around the world
17 For Change
17 For Change is an organization that was formed after the senseless killings of 17 students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Our organization consists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas alumni, student leaders from High Schools from throughout South Florida, parents, elected officials and people who support our mission.
We have come to a realization about two things: Many of our elected officials have repeatedly failed us by failing to enact laws that protect us, and we need sensible gun law changes.
Stoneman Douglas Student Journalism
These donations are to support the student Journalism program at Stoneman Douglas High School.
To many people, a yearbook is simply pictures bound in a hard cover. But it is so much more. A yearbook is a piece of history. It is something that you can hold for hours, flipping through pages, reading and reliving memories. It tells the story of the year.
We can’t make that day disappear. We can’t pretend it didn’t happen. We CAN fill their hearts with the support of their journalism family.
Branches of Bravery
Our immediate mission is to plant seventeen trees in front of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in honor of the seventeen lives that were lost. In addition, funds will be allocated toward building a beautiful reflection garden in the community of Parkland. In doing so, our trees and branches will bring life to areas where life was lost, in order to honor our school as not a place of tragedy but as a place of new beginnings and change.
In the future, Branches of Bravery will donate trees across various communities in need to inspire them to branch out and stay rooted in times of tragedy. We hope to also provide specialized relief funds to the different areas to foster change, whether it is through educational programs, inspirational speakers, or material supplies to rebuild.
The Friendship Initiative
We are committed to uniting individuals of all abilities through friendship, thus redefining the concept of community. We provide programs to foster relationships between the special needs and neuro-typical populations, creating a world that is home to all and influencing generations to come
Kids First Politics Second
In the aftermath of the Parkland High School massacre, our mission is to facilitate parents and student survivors having their voices heard as they demand common sense safety measures to protect our schools. All money raised will fund transportation, lodging and meals for the Parkland parents and student survivors, as well as Stoneman Douglas Alumni, to travel to Tallahassee and meet face to face with our lawmakers to implement sensible and necessary changes to protect our students and teachers.
The WalkUp Foundation
The WalkUp Foundation’s mission is to protect our children & teachers at school, by supporting evidence-based programs which improve the culture in our school, educate everyone to identify potential threats and report them, and encourage robust and accountable interactions between educators, law enforcement, and mental health professionals.
MSD Yoga for Hope and Healing
Prior to the tragedy, plans were put in place and an area of the school was reserved to created an outdoor yoga studio and another for a meditation space. Funds and/or donations are needed for the flooring and shading of this area. This will be an incredible space for both students and teachers to help in the healing process and for the daily stresses of not just high school life, but to have with them always.
